RXNT has been named to Inc. Magazine’s 2019 list of America’s 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. In this Q&A, Randy Boldyga, RXNT CEO, President, and Founder shares his thoughts on what makes RXNT successful.
What does it mean to be included on the Inc. 5000 list that in the past has included companies such as Microsoft, Dell, LinkedIn, Yelp, and Zillow?
Randy: “These are very exciting times for RXNT and our employees. I’m humbled to think that our company has made this list. I think it’s going to motivate our team to push harder to become an even more nationally recognized name. And, winning this award certainly tells customers that we’re a strong, reputable, and rapidly-growing company. We’ll be around for a long time.”
Since you started RXNT in 1999, what would you say are the company’s most significant accomplishments?
Randy: “Our first major accomplishment took place almost 20 years ago. We quickly created an industry-leading, cloud-based e-prescribing product and captured significant market share within a few years of that product’s release. The e-prescribing product gave us the financial stability to grow our company into something much bigger.
Our second accomplishment was our most important because it was one of our most critical business decisions and most impactful to the future of our company. We decided that we could no longer survive as simply an e-prescribing company. It was important to develop a comprehensive suite of solutions that would provide any ambulatory medical group with everything they needed (clinical or financial) to conduct business.
Our third accomplishment was being added to the Inc. 5000 list this year. This gives validation to our first two major accomplishments. We have strong and dedicated team and I attribute our inclusion on this list to the hard work and effort of our entire organization.”
Where do you see the company in five years, as RXNT celebrates its next major milestone (25 years)?
Randy: “I think we’re going to continue to experience rapid growth as the industry consolidates and competition tightens. I feel we’re well positioned to be an industry leader. Few competitors have a fully integrated suite (eRx, EHR, and PM) and have taken the proper steps to efficiently scale their client base.”
As part of the 20-year anniversary celebration, RXNT has refreshed its brand identity. How does the new brand reflect RXNT’s evolution as a leader in the healthcare technology market?
Randy: “Our company is well recognized in the healthcare industry for e-prescribing. But it’s important that people know we are no longer just an e-prescribing company. I believe that our refreshed brand is an important step in the maturity of our organization and its products. It shows clients our commitment to the evolution of our company and our products.”
