In April 2020, in response to the growing quarantine and stay-at-home orders surrounding COVID-19, RXNT’s president and CEO Randy Boldyga and his wife Claudia Boldyga donated laptop computers to support students and families at Grasonville Elementary School in Queen Anne’s County, MD. The gift helps students gain access to coursework and continue learning at home during COVID-19 school closures.
During the delivery, Claudia commented, “We just wanted to make sure the children who don’t have a computer at home have one to be able to receive and be able to do their school work while schools are closed due to the COVID-19 quarantine.”
Grasonville Elementary Principal Carol Kamp said, “We have 480 students currently enrolled here at the school. These donated computers are really top level, some Microsoft and some Dell brand. They have been given to students who are in pre-k up through second grade that do not have computers at home.”
Many RXNT team members contributed to the effort by helping to refurbish equipment and preparing the computers for delivery. RXNT is proud to be able to help students in need during the pandemic.
