Integrated Wireless and Desktop Solutions

The RxNT system is an ASP-based solution. This means that your patient information is maintained on our secure HIPAA compliant servers at our secure hosting facility and is accessed using a secure 128-bit encrypted desktop browser and/or wireless handheld device. It is not uncommon for a practice to allow staff members access to the system from desktop PCs to handle renewal requests and have practitioners using wireless handheld devices.

Minimum Desktop Requirements:

Windows Based PC

• Windows 95 or higher running Internet Explorer 6 or higher
• Minimum 800 x 600 screen resolution
• A dedicated internet connection with no less than 56K DSL bandwidth

Handheld Solutions and Minimum Requirements:

The RxNT system operates on several handheld devices. Each handheld device will provide unique capabilities when running the RxNT system.

Windows Mobile Devices:

RxNT is a Hewlett Packard solution partner. We recommend the HP IPAQ for those considering a Windows Mobile Device but any device running Windows Mobile 2003 or higher will work. If you do not have an HP IPAQ and would like to purchase one through RxNT, please call our office for pricing.

Blackberry Devices:

RxNT supports most modern Blackberry devices. Your device must contain a browser enabled data network connection in order to use the RxNT application. We recommend the Blackberry 8820 device with in-built Wi-Fi capabilities.

Palm Mobile Devices:

RxNT supports many Palm OS devices including:

• Palm Tungsten Products
• Kyocera 7135
• Sony Clie Handhelds
• Zire Products
