Frequently Asked Questions about RxNT
Q: Is my office responsible for entering patient information into RxNT?

A: No, we are often successful in performing a one-time patient demographic export from your billing or
PMS system. There is no cost for this service.
Q: What happens when we add new patients to the system after the initial import?

A: We install an HL-7 interface to many billing system or PMS systems so new patients are imported
automatically. For more information, call our office at (800) 943-7968.
Q: Do we have to add pharmacies to the system?

A: We have over 65,000 U.S. retail and mail order pharmacies and they can be easily found with our
advanced pharmacy search by name, address, phone, fax or zip code. Prescribers still have the option to
add a pharmacy if needed.
Q: Am I limited to using a hand held device or desktop computer?

A: Not at all; you can use an Internet-ready Computer, one of the many handheld devices supported, or both.
Q: Are all physicians in the practice required to enroll at the same time?

A: No - only those physicians who plan to use the service need to enroll.
Q: How do we enroll?

A: Fill out the enrollment form online and a representative will contact
you OR contact our office 800-943-7968 and follow the prompts for the sales department. It's that easy!
Q: Can I create "Favorite" lists for frequently prescribed medications?

A: Yes, you can create a favorite list of frequently prescribed medications and you can even create
customized SIGs for medications allowing you to save SIGs for frequently used or complicated dosing methods
so the next time you prescribe the medication the SIG is saved per your preference.
Q: Will the system remember a patient’s pharmacies after the first time I prescribe for them?

A: Yes, once you have written a prescription for a patient, the system will remember the most recent
5 pharmacies for the patient.
Q: Besides convenience, what does RxNT do for me? For my patients?

A:Using RxNT enables you to view patient-specific formulary information, claims medication history,
drug and allergy interactions at the point of care. The system will help you select the medications that
are safer and more cost effective for your patients. The process (in general) will be safer and the pharmacy
will find the prescriptions to be more legible. Your patient’s will appreciate it because their prescriptions
will be filled quicker and with greater accuracy.
Q: This sounds like a lot of service. Is it expensive to get all this?

A:The RxNT License Fee is $650 per practitioner per year. No hidden fees.
